Hi, I'm Ruchi - the the baker, the designer, the dreamer behind Casa Zaara.

Casa Zaara started at my own kitchen table in Rancho Santa Fe, hosting friends for afternoon tea - and it grew from there. I've always been drawn to the kind of moments where people slow down, sit around a table, and enjoy something lovely together. And what could be more perfect than afternoon tea for that?

With 20+ years of experience, and a background in both baking and graphic design, I bring together everything I love into Casa Zaara - the food, the hosting, the tablescapes, the magic! When I'm not baking, you'll find me hunting for the perfect vintage teacup, or curled up in a cozy corner with my favorite cuppa and a good book.

We create afternoon tea experiences for birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, and all kinds of celebrations. Whether you’re planning something simple or fully styled, I’d love for Casa Zaara to be part of it.
